Art Guidelines
Whether you have a finished art file or need help starting from scratch, we’re here to guide you. Our art guidelines ensure your design meets industry standards, achieves the best visual impact, and remains ADA-compliant if needed. From file formats and resolution requirements to color matching and layout recommendations, our team is ready to assist you every step of the way.
File Submission
Original artwork should be submitted whenever possible to avoid an Art Charge.
Files generated in the following programs are preferred:
Convert all text to outlines. Expand all fills & strokes. Save as a PDF, EPS, or AI file.
Flatten the image.Make sure your file contains one layer. Save as a PDF, JPEG, TIFF or PSD file.
Convert all text to outlines. Embed all links or include all necessary assets and fonts. Save as a PDF.
Artwork & images must be 4-color CYMK or grayscale at a minimum of 100 DPI at size.
You MUST include bleed in all your files. Add a quarter of an inch (.25") to each dimension to allow for cutting.
PMS colors must be clearly specified. GIF files & low-resolution JPEGs are not useable for producing qualirt printing and are unacceptable. Print work submitted in MS Publisher, MS Word or any other Microsoft application can be used as a reference; however, art charged will occur.
